SCHOLARSHIPS

The following Scholarships awarded by the state Govt. are made available to the students. The students awarded Scholarship under this scheme must attend the college regularly. The Scholarship will be withdrawn in case he fails to attend 75% of lectures practical’s and 80% of P.T. Classes every month and progress of the student is not Satisfactory. In such cases, the students will have to pay the college their full fees.
  1. National Scholarship.
  2. Scholarship to the Children of Primary & Secondary School Teacher.
  3. Govt. Of India Scholarships to Backward class students.
  4. Govt. Open Merit Scholarship.
  5. Scholarship to the Children of Freedom Fighters.

Important Information Regarding Government of India Post Metric Scholarship to the Backward Class students.

The scheme of grant Government of India Scholarship to the Backward class Students, Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes, Nomadic Tribes/Vimukat jastis and Scheduled Tribes outside specific area in Vidarbha and Nav-Buddhas formerly belonging to scheduled Caste for post S.S.C. Courses is implemented by the Director of Social welfare, Maharashtra State, Pune. All the Background class student and Nov-Buddhas formerly belonging to Scheduled Caste undertaking approved post S.S.C. Courses are considered eligible for the Govt. Of India Scholarships with the following exceptions.

CONDITION OF ELIGIBILITY.

  1. The students switching over to non professional line after completion professional course in one viz. LL.V. After B.Ed. B.E. After LL.B. will not be held eligible.
  2. The students falling in the Term/Annual examination are not considered eligible for the scholarships.
  3. The income limit is Rs. 1,00,000/- annually for NT, OBC, SBC, and SC, ST students the income limit is 2,50,000/- annually
  4. The students whose guardians/family income is beyond said limit should apply for only freeships within 15 days from date of admission.
  5. Students who are in full time employment will not be eligible for Scholarships.
  6. Only two children of the same parents/ Guardians will be entitled to receive Scholarships.
  7. FEES: – The students who are eligible for Government of India Scholarship will not be required to pay fees which are of compulsory nature.

PROCEDURE SUBMISSION OF G.O.I. SCHOLARSHIP FORM

All Background class students and the students coming under the Lower Income groups apply for the Govt. Of India Scholarship in the prescribed form through their respective College in the month of July only. The application forms will be made available to them at the time of admission. All the students should be vigilant enough to the fill in the forms complete in all respect and any omission or incorrect/false information is apt to disqualify them for the above Scholarship. The students having gap in their education should invariable file a court affidavit declaring as to what they were doing in the intervening period.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR SCHOLARSHIP

  1. Two photocopies of 10th Mark sheet.
  2. Two photocopies of 12th Mark sheet.
  3. Two photocopies of 12th TC/ Leaving Certificate.
  4. Two photocopies of Adhar Card.
  5. Two photocopies of Caste certificate / Non-creamy layer.
  6. Two photocopies of Bank passbook.
  7. Two photocopies of Income certificate
  8. Two passport size Color Photo.
  9. Stamp paper of worth 20/- for Freeship.
  10. Two photocopies of Voter ID.

FREESHIP

The following freeship awarded by the Govt. are made available to students. The students awarded freeship under this Scheme must attend at least 75% of lectures and practical’s as also 80% P.T. Classes must show satisfactory progress in their studies. Failure to do so will result in withdrawal of this concession. In such cases. Student shall have to pay the college their full fees.

  1. Freeship to Economically Backward Class Student :- The eligible students should apply to the Principal in the prescribed form within 30 days from the date of their admission to the College and obtain receipt from office.
  2. Freeship to the children of service personnel.
  3.  No concession available to the students from outside the state of Maharashtra. The students whose father or guardian resides outside the State of Maharashtra are not entitled to this freeship. The E.B.C. application is signed by mother, In case when father is not alive. In case of legal separation of father and mother, an affidavit to this effect should be submitted.

SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH THE APPLICATION.

  1. Full name of the father.
  2. Annual income from all for previous year. In case where the application is signed by a person other than father/ mother when alive, the procedure mentioned above should be followed. In case the student seek admission after lapse of some time, a gap certificate to the effect that he did not join any educational institution prior to his admission in the institution should be submitted and attached to the application.

The student should take a specific care that the income shown in the E.BIC. Form is the same as a shown by him in his application for admission.

For NT/OBC/SBC Students:- ( Range of Annual Income)

  1. (0 to 1 lakh) Scholarship.
  2. (1 to 6 lakh) Freeship.

For SC/ST Students:- (Range of Annual Income)

  1. (0 to 2.5 lakh) Scholarship.
  2. (2.5 lakh to unlimited) Freeship.
