Since the establishment of Shankarlal Agrawal Science College, Salekasa it is gradually progressing in Gondia District and Salekasa Tehsil as best institution giving education to tribal students. Initially, we have only B.Sc. (C.B.Z.) course which is Granted by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur and now we have introduced various Non-grant courses such as B.Sc.(P.C.M.), B.Sc.(Com.Sci.) & B.A. ie. Arts faculty and post graduation (M.Sc.) in Chemistry also, so the students of this remote area have lot of options to choose. We are further planning to introduce new job oriented courses in the institute and always been committed to cater quality education & overall development of the students.

Pratap Memorial Charitable Trust, Gondia is a rapidly growing Education Society in the District & running various educational institutes in the District. Shankarlal Agrawal Science College, Salekasa is one of them & has been established with an objective of providing access to higher education in Science for aspiring students from this Hilly and Naxal affected Taluka.
